Productdetails
Our epsom salt for flowers and grass is a high-active granulated powder which can absorb and bind up about one third of its own weight in moisture. It can be used several times over.
To dry flowers and grass, you’ll need our epsom salt, the flowers or grass of your choice and a container with a lid. Cover the bottom of the container with the epsom salt, put the flowers (without stalks) and the grass on top and cover them also with the epsom salt so that no hollows occur between the flowers or/and grass and then close the lid. Now you have to monitor the drying process closely and remove the flowers/grass when they have reached the desired degree of dryness (drying time approx. 5 to 10 days). The smaller the flowers, the shorter the drying time. Please bear in mind that if you leave them to dry for too long, they may become too dry and fall apart.
Besides the epsom salt and instructions, the 750 g bucket also contains a hygroscope which is used to determine whether the salt can be (re)used as it is or whether you need to cure it in oven.
