Wax pellets & candle jelly wax
You have the choice: either you use the wax pellets or the candle jelly wax. The end result is always remarkable. However, you have to liquefy both basic substances in a water bath. For that extra dose of individuality, add wax dye tablets or candle scents and then choose your favourite shape. Take care, though, not to forget the wick!
Making your own candles
To make your own candles, you need, first and foremost, a basic material:
Wax pellets are small, sturdy, paraffin-based wax discs that you can easily divide into single use amounts.
Beeswax pellets have the same consistency, but are made from 100 percent natural beeswax. You can also choose here whether you would like to use the beeswax discs of cosmetic or rather pharmaceutical quality. These are also suitable for beeswax wraps or as an additive for cosmetic products because they are food-safe. While common beeswax pellets are usually yellow, the beeswax discs of cosmetic quality are rather white.
Candle gel wax is a transparent, jelly-like waxy substance that needs to be liquefied in a water bath - just like wax pellets.
In the liquid state, however, you can also perfume or colour the liquid wax pellets and then cast them into your favourite shape.
Both wax pellets and candle gel wax are available in different units of quantity.
If you want to extend the burning life of your self-cast candle, add stearin powder to your wax mixture.
Our candle sand is particularly suitable for quick candle making. Fill a fireproof vessel with it and put a wick inside - done. Vey easy to use!
