Instructions in 7 steps Layer the moulded kneading-cement on the styrofoam ring scale-like. Mirror effet foil provides this decorative item with extra shine.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Container for kneading of the cement (e.g. bowl with lid), disposable gloves, brush, small container with water, stable support e.g. the lid of a plastic bucket, PET spray bottle (item 38 798 000), turntable ø 28 cm (item 89 259 00)
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
Thus the kneading-cement is not too dry, we recommend you to work it out in 3 sections. Always wear plastic gloves while working!2
Step 2
Mix 1/3 of the cement (1 kg) with water in the ratio 9:1 (9 parts of cement : 1 part of water). This corresponds to about 110 ml. Stir the water slowly, gradually add it while constantly kneading. Knead the crumbly mixture with damp disposable gloves (if necessary, moisten several times) until the desired consistency is achieved.Hint: You can mix also, quickly and easily, the kneading-cement in a sealable container. Here also add the water gradually by stirring it constantly, then close the container and shake it well. That way there is less dust and the parts intermix perfectly.

Step 3
Take some cement between the palms, press it flat and coat about a third of the flat styrofoam-ring until this section is thinly coated with the cement.4
Step 4
Mould a hazelnut-sized pellets out of the kneading-cement, tap them flat between the palms, mould them malleably and press them scale-like onto the wreath-section coated with cement (poss. stop up the joints with your thumb).Hint: The cement mixture should be smooth and easily malleable. If the cement is cracky during kneading, just sprinkle it with some water. The connection joints should be always damp, potentially work it out with a lightly moistened brush.
5
Step 5
Once the coated wreath-section decorated, mix the second and further the last one i.e. the third kneading-cement and start with the next section in the same manner.6
Step 6
Let it dry. The entire drying period lasts for several days. After about 21 days the object is weatherproof.7
