
Wooden decorative trays and napkin holders with Viennese wickerwork

180 min Instructions in 7 steps Viennese wickerwork and rattan wickerwork blend well with wood. Customised table accessories, both practical and beautiful, can be created in a jiffy.
Glue the two blocks (12 × 2.5 cm) together, joining their narrow edges. As for the front and rear panel, glue a block (9.5 × 2.5 cm) on each side of the narrow edge.

Step 1 - Trays
Cast the mini Raysin pots following the instructions as given in the manual and after they have dried, arrange them on the trays.2 ![]()

Then cut pieces of rattan and Viennese wickers tailored to the size of the inner surface of the trays. Once the paint is completely dry, glue the cut pieces to the bottom surface of the trays using the hot-melt glue.4 ![]()

You could also enhance the inner edges of the trays by gluing pieces of rattan strips to them using the double-sided adhesive tape.5 ![]()

Step 5 - Napkin holder
To make the napkin holder, you‘ll need two wooden blocks measuring 12 × 2.5 cm and four wooden blocks measuring 9.5 × 2.5 cm.Glue the two blocks (12 × 2.5 cm) together, joining their narrow edges. As for the front and rear panel, glue a block (9.5 × 2.5 cm) on each side of the narrow edge.

Then glue the front and rear panel in the middle of the front and back edges of the 12 cm long blocks that you have glued together.7 ![]()
