Instructions in 7 steps For girls who love baking - the lettering glittered in gold sets the tone for creative endeavors.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Sponge and water to clean the stencil, Cardboard as stencil underlay, Paper towel, Tea towel
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
Wash the child’s apron at 30°C (gentle cycle) without fabric softener. Press the apron flat before you start stencilling.2
Step 2
Put the apron flat on a solid surface. Underlay the apron with a cardboard at the spot where the motif will be applied. Remove the backing paper from the stencil “Baking Queen” and place it at the chest height of the apron. Press the stencil slightly on.3
Step 3
Apply the black and brilliant gold textile dye to the stencil of the motif (sideways left). Use the squeegee scraper to stencil the word “Baking” in black, the word “Queen” and the upper part of the tartlet in gold, and the bottom of the tartlet and the squiggle in black. Take the slimest side of the squeegee scraper and stencil the corresponding colours over the motif with your hand at a 45° angular position. Wipe the squeegee scraper well between the colours with the kitchen paper so that the colour shades remain unaltered. Repeat this process until you have stencilled the entire motif without lifting the stencil.4
Step 4
Now, lift the stencil carefully on one side to see if the whole motif has been stencilled. Then carefully remove the stencil from one side of the fabric, and clean it immediately with a sponge under running water and the cleanser for paintbrushes & stencils.5
Tip:
Dry the stencil at best with a tea towel and put it back on the backing paper. This will protect the stencil and allow you to use it repeatedly.6
Step 5
Then sprinkle the ultra-fine glitter dust onto the word Queen and the tartlet.7
