Instructions in 9 steps With Chalky Finish paint and the special wipeout painting technique, this natural wood crate turns into a decorative vintage item. And this is how it works:
1
Step 1
To trim these natural wooden crates into an „ancient“ look, dip the slightly damp paint sponge into the Chalky Finish brown cream-wax and wipe it over the whole surface.2
Step 2
Take some Chalky Finish anthracite paint with another paint sponge and wipe it in places onto the still wet wax.3
Step 3
By means of the first sponge, the transitions from brown to anthracite are going to become blurred.4
Step 4
Paint the wooden pineapple with the All Purpose paint in golden yellow and leaf-green.5
Step 5
Thread the jute cord 6m long at the corners of the wooden crate and fix the crate by a pine-green jute cord with a winding knot.6
Step 6
With the golden metallic yarn „Stitch & Knot“ , you can achieve nice effects by rolling it along the line and by gluing it firmly on the back. Stick the small pineapple with the hot glue gun at a half of the plastic ball. Take care that the suspension looks down.7
Step 7
Disperse the granulate in this half, and stick together the ball with a bit of hot glue.8
Step 8
At the end, decorate the pineapple and the fern and affix them too with the hot glue.9
