Instructions in 10 steps What a beautiful day! Your self-made tile once hung in the bathroom brings already happiness to your day while brushing your teeth.
Now you can use the designed tile for many decorative purposes (for example as a glass coaster, stand-up holder or on a tray).
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Whisk, mixing vessel, scales, tinfoil, kitchen roll
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
In order to prevent the tile from being poured out obliquely, it is necessary to work on a horizontal and stable surface.2
Step 2
Mix 350 g of the casting powder Raysin 200 with 100 ml of water, stir evenly and pour it into the tile-shaped casting mould.3
Step 3
After approx. 1 hour, turn the casting mould over and demould the tile carefully.4
Step 4
Now buff the edges with the sandpaper. The poured out tile should dry thoroughly out, preferably overnight.5
Step 5
To put the motif onto the tile, remove the release paper from the stencil. Place the motif in the middle and press well the stencil onto the tile.6
Step 6
Now, spread quickly and evenly the paint Chalky Finish in ebony colour over the motif by means of the brush.7
Step 7
After stenciling, carefully flatten the stencil laterally and clean it immediately with the stencil cleaner.8
Step 8
Let it dry well out.9
Step 9
When sealing the tile with Triple Gloss, use the wide brush. Apply the Triple Gloss evenly and richly on the tile. The tile is completely dry after several days.10
Step 10
If you want to apply the textile felt to the back of your tile, cut 16 × 16 cm out of the felt with the scissors and stick the felt to the tile by means of the multipurpose glue. Allow it to dry out as well. Now you can use the designed tile for many decorative purposes (for example as a glass coaster, stand-up holder or on a tray).
Hint: Do not expose the tile to a strong heat - do not use it as a trivet.
