Step 1
Put a small amount of felt underneath the stem of the pumpkin.Tip: Lay a small amount of felt in stages to obtain a homogeneous aesthetic effect.

Step 2
Hold the felting tool vertically and move it carefully up and down. Add gradually small amounts of felt around the entire pumpkin by means of the felting tool. Make sure no part is left uncovered.3 ![]()
Step 3
Put the brown felt around the stem and along the pumpkin ribs to felt them as well. Design the remaining pumpkins according to your colour preferences.4 ![]()
Step 4
Save about 1.80 long jute cord strand for later. Untwist the short piece of jute cord (about 20 cm long) with your fingers so that several thin filaments of jute are obtained.
