Instructions in 11 steps Knotting, tying, stringing - With a little patience, you can provide glass jars with one-of-a-kind look. And this is how it works:
1
Step 1
Line the lagoon, lime green and pinkish yarn up, cut them to the size of 1 x 60 cm and knot their ends together, then cut them to the size of 2 x 2 m and secure their ends with knots as well. Lay the 60 cm long yarn in the middle, then underlay centrally the 2 m long rug yarn on one side and tie a weaver knot (see picture).2
Step 2
Create another weaver knot with the other 2 m long rug yarn, cross the rug yarns lying in the middle and tie one more weaver knot on both sides.3
Step 3
Repeat this step continuously until a length of about 18 cm in knots is reached.4
Step 4
With the 30 cm long yarn make a winding knot at all ends, for this form a loop, wrap in the direction of the loop, pull the end through. Pull the short end of the loop through.5
Step 5
Cut the ends and the remnants off.6
Step 6
Put it around the bottleneck, overlap it and affix it with the multi-purpose adhesive.7
Step 7
Make the tassels (2 x pinkish, 2 x lime green, 3 x lagoon and 3 x tricolour) as follows: Wrap unicoloured tassels 21 times around 3 fingers – approx. 3 m. Wrap tricoloured tassels 7 times around 3 fingers – approx. 1.20 m.8
Step 8
Knot the bundle together with the 20 cm long yarn. Cut the windings open.9
Step 9
Make a winding knot with the 30 cm long yarn (see above).10
Step 10
Thread the needle for beads with the threading yarn, sew the knotted strip on. Thread 11 Rocailles beads, sew a tassel on and thread back through the Rocailles beads. Sew the other tassels on at a distance of about 1.5 cm.11
