Instructions in 8 steps Once painted with white Chalky Finish paint, the two spring motifs "Bunny" and "Spring" look particularly vernal.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Aluminium foil, Vaseline/oil
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
As preparation, place the labels at a desired location (motif facing upwards) and fix it with the special double-sided adhesive tape. Put the casting moulds on a stable surface and coat them carefully with vaseline/oil.2
Step 2
Fill a plastic bucket with about 105ml of water and add gradually about 1050g of creative-cement. Stir this mixture with a craft stick until a smooth, mouldable mixture is reached.3
Step 3
Fill the already prepared moulds with this casting compound (do not exceed the upper border!). Let it rest for 1-2 minutes. Then, tap repeatedly and slightly against the moulds, so that the air bubbles can escape upwards.4
Step 4
Let them dry overnight.5
Step 5
The very next day, you can demould the eggs out of cement by turning the moulds over and laying them down on a support.6
Step 6
Work with a gentle pressure by hand against the moulds, so that the air can pass between the cast object and the mould. Tap carefully and slowly the casting moulds on the support, so that the egg out of cement is released completely out of the mould.7
Step 7
Let it harden. The curing process is depending on their size and tempe-rature (preferably several days). Small burrs and imperfections you can quickly and easily grind with sandpaper.8
