Duck-shaped soap

Difficulty

difficulty

Duration

30 min
Instructions in 8 steps Warm the soap up, dye it and pour it into the duck-shaped latex mould - let it dry – done!
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Stove, melt, melting pot, scale, small plastic container, wooden sticks as a stirrer or teaspoon, tablespoon
And this is how it works:
1

Step 1

Melt the creative-soap in a water-bath on the stove (max. 60° - do not boil).
2

Step 2

After a complete melting, stir 2-3 drops of the soap colour lemon and a drop of the fragrance oil lime into the liquid soap. Therefore, use a wooden stick or a teaspoon.
3

Step 3

Fix the latex casting mould at best with 4 craft sticks at the upper rim of a vessel e.g. plastic container.
4

Step 4

Now you can pour the mould completely out with the liquid soap.
5

Step 5

Let the soap dry well out (at least 2-3 hours, ideally one day).

Tip: Let the finished soap dry at best for 2-3 weeks; the longer it ripens, the firmer becomes.

6

Step 6

To demould the soap, push the latex mould at best outward.
7

Step 7

Depending on the temperature and airiness, the soap can perspire. We therefore recommend to wrap the soap after its demoulding in a transparent foil for flowers (cellophane).
8

Step 8

Clean the soap casting mould and the pots with hot water.
