Instructions in 4 steps Glitter and gold are a must on any Christmas tree. One half of our Christmas bauble is covered with copper-coloured glitter.
Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Wooden stick or paintbrush handle, Bowl for sequin spangles
And this is how it works: 1
Step 1
Remove the hanger with a cap from the ball and insert a matching wooden stick or paintbrush handle into the opening. Paint the ball completely out with the midnight blue Chalky Finish paint. Let it dry out. During the process of creation, keep the wooden stick in place inside the ball at all times. For a rich, uniform colour result, apply a second layer of the paint. Allow it to dry well out.2
Step 2
Spread the Triple Gloss varnish onto the ball, quickly and evenly, just over half from below. Let it dry well out again.3
Step 3
Then spread the sequin spangles evenly on the other half with the paintbrush. Pour all of the copper gold sequin spangles into a bowl and dip the ball with the adhesive surface into it. Repeat this step until the whole surface is covered with sequin spangles. To dry, put the ball in a container (e.g. a glass or a foam brick).4
