Instructions in 5 steps Conjure up that very special look on decorative eggs out of concrete: affix the decorative metal flakes on with the special gilding adhesive – a unique shine is achieved. And this is how it works:
1

Step 1

Close the hole inside the candle moulding form with adhesive tape. Coat the inside of the form with cooking oil and put together the two parts of the form.
2

Step 2

Fill approx. 20 ml water into a plastic bucket and then gradually add 200 g cement. Stir the mix until you get an equal, pourable mass.
3

Step 3

Fill the mass into the prepared form just up tot he desired height. Let the mass rest for 1 – 2 minutes. At the same time tap on the form again and again, so that the air bubbles can escape.
4

Step 4

Let it set hard. The needed time depends on the size of the form and the temperature, the best is to let it set hard over night, then pull off the forms and let it dry again. (Do not let it set hard completely in the form!) The bowl is completely hardened and can be used after 1 – 2 days.
5

Step 5

Now you can pull the egg out of the form. As required you can also sand it with the sand paper and decorate it with the deco-metal.
