Instructions in 8 steps String on various Rocailles beads and matching cotton yarn according to the instructions. The magnetic clasp is very easy to open and close. And this is how it works:

Step 1

Cut out to size three threads 60 cm in lenght and seven threads 30 cm in lenght of the black embroidery thread. Start with the strand of the big-hole Rocailles bead, thread a 60 cm long thread in the needle and push it in the middle. Secure the ends together with a knot. Successively thread each one of the 8 big-hole Rocailles beads per colour. Cut off the threads up to the needle.

Step 2

Thread 72 pieces (approx. 0.7 g) Delica rocailles beads onto each of the two 60 cm long threads.

Step 3

Line up precisely together the strand with the big-hole Rocailles bead, the three 30 cm long threads and the two threads with the Delica Rocailles beads and wrap them round with some wire.

Step 4

Align as follows:
Place the two long threads right and left, then place the three 30 cm long threads under the strand with the big-hole Rocailles bead. Tie a reef knot with both long threads.

Step 5

Knot the Rocailles beads as follows:
Push up, on right and left, each of the 3 Delica Rocailles beads and the big-hole Rocailles bead in the middle and then make another reef knot. Keep in mind the bracelet lenght, if necessary add more Rocailles beads.

Step 6

For the strand with Delica Rocailles beads, mount 30 cm thread into the needle and at its end tie a knot. Successively thread the Delica Rocailles beads, approx. 1 g, until the desired length is reached.

Step 7

Make the plait as follows:
Divide the brass bead chain with a side cutter into three parts, each one 30 cm in lenght. Line up precisely the three threads, each 30 cm long and the three brass bead chains, then wrap them round with some wire. Braid the plait using the three strands, each one having 1 thread and 1 chain, until the desired lenght is reached.
