Besides the articles listed below, you also need: Scissors, paper, printer, paper glue or double-sided adhesive tape, ribbons, potentially Christmas songsheet, pictures or texts, wise sayings

And this is how it works:

Step 1

The DIY paper kraft explosion box includes diverse surface areas, fanfold papers or clear plastic sleeves that can be customised. You can add Christmas texts, pictures or sheets of music, e.g. "Silent Night" – and it’s done!

Step 2

Plain or Christmas paper pattern that can be stamped, for example, is also well-suited for creative customisation. In our example, Clear Stamps - Reindeer Friends were used on white printer paper.

Step 3

Write 24 wise sayings on small slips of paper. Roll them up, tie them with a string and attach a wooden or felt Advent calendar number to each one.

Tip: Here are a few examples of popular Advent sayings: "Go for a walk", "Buy yourself something special", "Make a cup of tea and enjoy it fully", "Write a Christmas card" etc.

Step 4

You can further enhance the outer surfaces of the box with wooden tags, paper sheets, stamps and ribbons. Finally, your Advent calendar is ready to be given away or for your personal use.
